I inserted the link again so give it one more shot and lemme know.

Jazakullah khairun for letting me know because I'd hate it if people don't get a chance to hear this mesmerizing recitation.

It really is beautiful, very hypnotic. JazakAllahuKhairan for sharing. And i'm sorry for the trouble :s
Who's the sheikh?
How about now you share atleast one nice ayah, or a hadith or an Islamic website or advice....then we'll call it even because then both of us would be rewarded insha Allah.

Cool?
hmmm..sounds fair enough.
here is one of my most fav hadith:

It is reported that Ibn-Abbas said: “I was once walking close behind the Prophet (pbuh) when he said: ‘Boy, I will teach you a few words: be mindful of Allah and He will be mindful of you, be mindful of Allah and you will find Him by your side; if you ask, ask of Allah; if you seek help, seek it of Allah; know that if the whole world joined hands so as to benefit you with something, they would not benefit you except with something that Allah had already written for you; and that if they joined hands to harm you with something, they would only harm you with something that Allah had already written for you. The pens have already been lifted away, and the pages dried.”

love it. :)
Masha Allah.....simple yet forceful, deep yet elegant!

I think we just found a new opening for my khutbas :-)
it sounds beautiful.can you please translate it?

It's an excerpt from the Quran and translates to:

In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

1. O you who believe! be not forward in the presence of Allah and His Messenger, and be careful of (your duty to) Allah; surely Allah is Hearing, Knowing.

2. O you who believe! do not raise your voices above the voice of the Prophet, and do not speak loud to him as you speak loud to one another, lest your deeds became null while you do not perceive.

3. Surely those who lower their voices before Allah's Messenger are they whose hearts Allah has proved for guarding (against evil); they shall have forgiveness and a great reward.

4. (As for) those who call out to you from behind the private chambers, surely most of them do not understand.

5. And if they wait patiently until you come out to them, it would certainly be better for them, and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

6. O you who believe! if an evil-doer comes to you with a report, look carefully into it, lest you harm a people in ignorance, then be sorry for what you have done.

7. And know that among you is Allah's Messenger; should he obey you in many a matter, you would surely fall into distress, but Allah has endeared the faith to you and has made it seemly in your hearts, and He has made hateful to you unbelief and transgression and disobedience; these it is that are the followers of a right way.

Thank you.It is very nice.It is a pity that such a gentle religion has been given a bad name a bad name because of the actions of some people.
